Program Fee: $96.00
The third course of the Prayerbook/Biblical Hebrew sequence introduces:
- Direct object and demonstrative pronouns
- Possessive endings for plural nouns
- The future tense and tense reversing
- Develops a vocabulary total of over 200 words
- Mastery of extensive Prayerbook Hebrew texts and melodies
- History topics in Hebrew (e.g.: the Dead Sea Scrolls)
Covering approximately chapters 15-19 of the required text, this course builds your Prayerbook skills as
well as your appreciation of the meaning of its essential texts.
Required text: Prayerbook Hebrew the Easy Way is available for sale at Afikomen Judaica in Berkeley and
other outlets. Please purchase the book before the first class session.
Prerequisite: Beginning Prayerbook/Biblical Hebrew 2 (formerly level B), or equivalent. If you’re not sure if this is the right level course, contact the instructor at jehon@att.net
