This course starts from the beginning and covers the following:
- Covers approximately chapters 8-13 of Prayerbook Hebrew the Easy Way
- Increases vocabulary to 150+ words
- Builds comprehension of basic Prayerbook passages and their melodies
- Explores topics in the history of Hebrew
Required text: Prayerbook Hebrew the Easy Way (Joseph Anderson et. al, EKS Publishing) is available for sale at Afikomen Judaica in Berkeley and other outlets. Please purchase the book before the first class session.
