David Strathairn in “Remember This: The Lesson of Jan Karski” (In Person Only)

December 4, 2022 @ 2:00 pm - 4:30 pm

Program Fee: Free

In partnership with Berkeley Rep and Taube Philanthropies
Sunday, December 4 @ 2-4:30pm

David Strathairn portrays the Polish World War II hero and Holocaust witness Jan Karski, who risked his life to carry his report of the Warsaw ghetto from war-torn Poland to the Allied Nations and the Oval Office, only to be met with inaction and disbelief. Following the 90-minute solo play at Berkeley Rep, we will hold a panel discussion hosted at the theatre with actor, David Strathairn, co-writer and Director, Derek Goldman, co-writer Clark Young, and New Lehrhaus’ scholar, Prof. David Biale.

Buy your ticket to the play directly from Berkeley Rep here (on your own) and register (scroll down on this page) for the FREE panel following the show. Only ticket holders will be able to join the post-performance discussion.
