Robby Adler Peckerar is the executive director of New Lehrhaus and a scholar of Jewish cultural history. He previously served for fifteen years as executive director of Yiddishkayt in Los Angeles. A former professor at the University of Colorado, Boulder, he has taught courses on Jewish literature, Central and Eastern European intellectual history, and Yiddish cultural movements. His recent translations include Itzik Manger's The Book of Paradise and The Podolian Nights: Essential Tales of Nachman of Bratslav.
