Mark Streshinsky is the General and Artistic Director of West Edge Opera, where he has defined the company’s adventurous spirit through a wide-ranging repertoire—from classics to contemporary. He is now directing Charpentier’s David & Jonathan. He has directed for major opera companies across the U.S., including at San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Saint Louis, and Reina Sofía Opera House in Valencia, Spain. He has taught at Yale, the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and the Peabody Institute.
