It’s #4 of course! New Lehrhaus – Tiyul Jewish Journeys have Study Tours scheduled for winter-spring 2023 with New Lehrhaus scholars Rabbi Yoel Kahn (Morocco), Dr. Jehon Grist (Mexico) and Ariel Goldstein (Israel). All trips are meticulously planned by trip maven Ariel Goldstein (founder and owner of Tiyul) and by local guides.
A trip with New Lehrhaus – Tiyul is not just a vacation, it’s a journey into history, local culture, cuisine, and, most importantly, an opportunity to meet local Jewish community members.
Of course, you’ll visit the “traditional” most-visited sites but you’ll also to explore each country’s Jewish past and present, visit synagogues, Jewish schools and institutions, and celebrate Shabbat at Friday night dinners. Whenever feasible trip participants have the opportunity to make a positive difference by helping local Jews and non-Jews in need.
